Evan Johnston

A Bay Area native, Evan Johnston studied ballet with Charles Anderson, Katarina Wester, and Jodie Gates. He developed his contemporary dance practice with Donald McKayle and Loretta Livingston while earning degrees in dance and biological sciences from UC Irvine, where he also studied dance medicine & science under Jeff Russell. Since returning to the Bay Area, Evan has performed with Bay Pointe Ballet, Menlowe Ballet, and various companies as a freelance dancer.
