Summer Camps and Intensive
Peninsula School of the Arts is excited to announce our 2025 Summer Camps and Intensive!
With 4 amazing summer camp and intensive options for all ages and abilities you are sure to find the perfect camp for your family.
Each week of camp has a designated theme which is sure to spark creativity and keep your student active this summer. Camp participants will present their work to their parents at the end of each week with a short performance.

My First Dance Camp

Cost: Deposit $25 + $150 tuition per week

Ages: 3-6
My First Dance Camp is the perfect summer camp for our youngest aspiring dancers. Students ages 3-6 will learn and explore basic ballet and dance movement in a fun, creative way. Parents will be invited to watch their students in a mini-showcase on the last day of camp.
​Week 1: Dance in Outer Space
July 7th-11th
Join us for an unforgettable adventure at Peninsula School of the Arts, where young dancers will explore the theme "Dance in Outer Space"! This imaginative camp will take children on a cosmic journey through the stars as they learn ballet technique and learn celestial-inspired choreographies. They'll develop their strength, flexibility, and creativity while dancing among the planets and stars, discovering new worlds through movement.
​Week 2: Dancing Around the World
July 14th-18th
Join us this week as we go on a worldwide adventure in dance! Students will enjoy dancing to music from international cultures.
All students are encouraged to attend the July 20 -21 Peninsula International Dance Festival to celebrate Dancing Around the World Week. ​

Week 3: Dance at the Zoo
July 21st-25th
Join us this summer as we go on a Zoo adventure! Dance at the Zoo is an exciting and fun-filled dance camp designed for young kids to explore movement and rhythm in a creative and engaging environment. The classes are set in a beautiful studio and dancers will learn ballet movements inspired by animals and nature. With experienced instructors, children will enjoy age-appropriate lessons, games, and a small performance, all while having a blast connecting with others and discovering the joy of dance. It's the perfect place for kids to grow their confidence and creativity while having a wild time!
Dance Camp

Ages: 7-12
Peninsula School of the Arts summer dance camp is for ages 7-12. Students will participate in classes such as ballet technique and choreography in addition to special classes on make-up, hair, and more.
​Week 1: Dance in Outer Space
July 7th-11th
Embark on an adventure with us as we will be Dancing in Outer Space! Dancers will be traveling through the galaxy using music and choreography as exploration tools
​Week 2: Dancing Around the World
July 14th-18th
Join us this week as we go on a worldwide adventure in dance! Students will enjoy dancing to music from international cultures.

​Week 3: Carnival of the Animals
July 21st -25th
Students will participate in classes such as ballet technique and choreography, in addition to special classes on make-up, hair, and more.
In Week 3, students will discover the ballet of Carnival of the Animals. From fierce lions to cute jellyfish, each day is a journey into the animal kingdom.
Students will perform in a mini show on the last day of camp, July 25th.

Ages: 13-18
​Peninsula School of the Arts Summer Intensive Program is for students ages 13-18. Students will participate in classes such as ballet technique, pointe/pre-pointe, variation, choreography, conditioning, floor barre and contemporary.
​Week 1: Midsummer Night's Dream
July 7th-11th
Join us this week as we dive into the ballet of Midsummer Night's Dream. Our program offers an immersive experience where students refine their technique and explore character interpretation and artistry, as well as attend interactive hair and make-up workshops.
​Week 2: Dancing Around the World
July 14th-18th
Join us this week as we go on a worldwide adventure in dance! Students will enjoy dancing to music from international cultures.
All students are encouraged to attend the July 20 -21 Peninsula International Dance Festival to celebrate Dancing Around the World Week.​

Week 3: Paquita
July 21st-25th
Join us this week as we dive into a timeless classic, Paquita. This intricate choreography will allow dancers to work on their technique and skills. Our program offers an immersive experience where participants refine their technique and explore character interpretation and artistry, as well as attend interactive hair and make-up workshops. Students will perform in a mini-showcase on the last day of camp, July 25th.

Ages: 6-10
July 21st-25th
Students will learn about dance and movement, enjoy stories, games, and arts and crafts! Parents will be invited to watch their students in a mini-showcase on the last day of camp.
Send your child with a bagged lunch and snacks as there will be lunch and snack breaks throughout the day.
After camp care is available from 3:00 - 5:00 for an additional $200 - register in DSP separately

Aftercare

Ages: 6-10
July 21st-25th
Students will play at the studio to read books, make puzzles, color along and play with friends. If signed up, you can pick up your child anytime between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

Cancellation Policy: A $25 nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of registration for all summer camps. If you need to cancel your summer camp registration Peninsula School of the Arts must be notified prior to July 1, 2025. Full camp tuition is due July 1st or upon the day of registration, if registering after July 1, 2025.
